This report is vital; as often, managers may not understand the total financial impact of labor decisions. A small change in labor statistics can equate to hundreds of dollars per day in labor costs.
  • Labor costs per car, cars per man hour and percent of labor to sales monitor labor productivity with these industry-standard metrics that do not take labor minimums or efficiencies into account.

  Forecast volume and schedule staffing based on historic sales trends and weather conditions. By looking at historical trends, volume, and staffing requirements, you can estimate how busy the wash will be and schedule accordingly.

• If you have made the decision to incentivize your greeters, reward them with sales management programs that recognize increased performance. Prevent motivating greeters who fail to perform or show only marginal effort through commission reports that allow you to set performance minimums and variable reward thresholds.

  Commission schedules can be adjusted to include rewards based on many different performance indicators including: the number of cars sold, the number of cars purchasing extra services and the extra service sales per car.

  Eligibility rules provide you with a means to set minimum sales levels that must be reached before a commission is paid. For example, you may not want to pay a commission unless the greeter sells a minimum of 100 cars and maintains at least $2.00 per car in extra-service sales.

  Additional thresholds can be set for each commission schedule, so that the commissions paid can increase as sales per car increase. For example, commissions awarded after $2.00 per car in extra-service sales can be increased at $3.00 per car and again at $4.00 per car. Additionally, if overselling is a problem, the commission can be reduced above a certain level.

  Set individual commission schedules for each employee. You have the ability to control which commission schedules are in effect for which employees based on unique login IDs.
